Donations for Show Costumes

In case you missed the e-mail, and haven't checked out Seesaw yet....

We will be making props and costumes in the coming weeks for our end of year performance of Pandora's Box. Each of the Gods and Goddesses and the chorus will need a toga and a cloth belt. The Miseries will be dressed in all black.
We will need 14 single bed sheets to make the togas and 14 cloth belts. Before we go and buy new ones, we are asking for any donations. If you have any old bed-sheets of any colour, and/or any old pieces of fabric which we could use for making belts, please send them in next week.

Many thanks for the support!

Back from Camp Taiwan

I expect that you are beginning to hear all about your child's three days away at Camp by now.. we had a fantastic time and I'm sure you'll be keen to hear as much as you can about it over the coming days. It was a real pleasure to spend time with, and see your children out there in an entirely different environment.. (except perhaps at 5.00am, 5.30am, 6.00am and 6.30am... you know who you are Barbets!!)

It's always interesting to see the kids in such an environment; their interactions with each other, with nature,  being away form the creature comforts of home, how they tackle new and exhilarating activities, the different ways they respond to nerves and fear!! They really are a lovely bunch and the Camp staff echoed this and commented on how well they got on with each other and with the instructors, how enthusiastic they all were and how little they moaned!

The weather was amazing, there were hardly any tears.. I think everybody had a good time.. they were certainly very excited and looked as though they were. Once again.. it was Florian, Marie and my pleasure to experience it all with them. A win win for CE2 and Camp Taiwan 2016.

I know the kids have been busy taking photos and uploading them all to seesaw.. I expect most of you have been watching them along the way.. Below is a link to a folder of photos I took.. I don't really use my camera much these days.. but I'm always glad I did when looking back over 'non phone' photographs. You can download any that you want by clicking on the download arrow at the top.
