Between now and Chinese New Year, the children will be learning how to write explanation texts in English, how to tell the time and solve time related problems, and investigating symmetry in maths. In science they will be learning about Hygiene and Health, including the importance of good feeding habits, sleeping and exercising as well as how the body moves if there is time.
Sport lessons this period are on Wednesday afternoons and will be off site at the Tienmu Baseball Stadium.
It wasn't in today's weekly memo from the office, but please remember to provide a packed lunch for your child on Wednesdays until the CNY holiday. The Section will provide an Easy Card for each child to use on the bus.
In science this afternoon the children were sorting foods into the 5 different groups and thinking about what quantities of foods from each group they should be eating each day.
